The Process

How to get started

Typically, we will meet at your home, so we can discuss what you want to accomplish, and you will get input from me as well. Any pictures or notes you have will be helpful. It is a good idea to make a list of what you like or dislike about the present area, or questions that you want answered, so nothing is overlooked.

Also, understanding what you are comfortable investing will help to ensure we are all working towards the same goal. We will usually discuss this subject sometime in our first meeting.

What to expect

We will discuss function and design, all types of products and anything else that is pertinent, starting with the basics and finishing with the details.

I will then return to your home with drawings, to make sure we are all on the same page. From there the drawings will be finalized and a written proposal presented. We will also discuss any options or changes you want. The object is for you to know exactly what you are getting, and for how much. From there you would decide how you want to proceed, so some final decisions can be made, and we can move forward with the project.

Making selections

Normally I bring materials to you so you have a better idea of how things will look in your home. If need be, we can use other showrooms as well. I will guide you through the entire process.

I want you to be happy with everything, as it is what you will use and see every day.

And finally

After all decisions have been made, papers will be signed and, of course, you get a copy of everything. From there, materials will be ordered. On the projects we install, a work schedule will be set up, and I am on the job as needed, because I personally supervise all of our installations. My goal is to have everything run smoothly and stay on schedule.
